As a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation, donations made to the PTO are tax deductible as allowed under US and state tax law, and eligible for distributions from other charitable organizations such as the United Way.  Many of the employers in the area (including General Dynamics, Pfizer, and Northeast Utilities) support the United Way, and you can designate the Salem PTO as the recipient of your gift.

 

In addition, many of these same employers provide matching gifts or donations for every dollar or hour of service you provide or donate through payroll deduction. 

 

The PTO is very grateful for the generosity of this year’s contributors, who collectively donated over $9,000 !
