Food Service Information
he State of CT requires that all SFAs who on a weighted average charged less than the target weighted average price of $4.01 for paid lunches in SY 2024-25 are required to make an adjustment to their weighted average paid lunch price for SY 2025-26.
For the 2025-26 school year, the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) will no longer cover the customer cost of the students who qualify for reduced-priced meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). This means that reduced priced breakfast will be $.30 and reduced priced lunch will be $.40.
Below are the costs for this school year that were voted on by the Board of Education after using the state's cost calculator and comparing it with other districts:
- Full price Breakfast $2.00
- Full price Lunch $4.00
- Reduced price Breakfast $.30
- Reduced price Lunch $.40
- Adult lunch $5.00
- Adult Breakfast $3.00
Free students eligible for 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch per day.
Free lunch and breakfast will only be provided for students/families who qualify for free benefit meals.
It is very important for everyone to fill out the application for Free-Reduced Meals available on the school webpage or main office of your district school.
