Salem School is proud to announce that we are no longer contracting with a vendor for our Food Service Program. Salem School's Food Service Program is now a self-operated program. We have entered a shared service agreement with East Lyme Public Schools to share a Food Service Director, Chris Urban, and will have our own staff members working in the kitchen. This is a very exciting time for our school and we look forward to improving our food service program for our students!
Salem School students can purchase lunches daily for $3.00 ($0.40 reduced). (Double entree lunch is an additional $1.50.) Breakfast prices are $1.50 ($0.00 reduced).Free and Reduced Meal Application: Income guidelines for free and reduced meals are set by the federal government based on the poverty level. Families who are eligible for free or reduced meals must complete an application each school year. Applications are processed by the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent. Parents are notified of their free, reduced or denied meal benefit status through a letter mailed to their home address. Reduced lunch is $0.40 per meal and reduced breakfast is $0.00 per meal.Fore more information on our Food Service Program please click HERE
